The Bishop Delegate for Youth role is to advocate and advise the Bishops and the Conference on issues that arise in the area Youth and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for action that might be undertaken at a national level.

The Bishop Delegate for Youth works with and is advised by the Australian Catholic Youth Council and the ACBC Office for Youth.

The primary focus is to carry forth the Bishops vision for Catholic youth ministry; Anointed and Sent.
